Project: “Innovative Solutions for Refugee Integration and Crisis Mitigation in EU Member States” /ISRICM – EU – “ Soluzioni innovative per l'integrazione dei rifugiati e la mitigazione delle crisi negli Stati membri dell'UE
International partnership for refugee integration and the mitigation of the consequences of the Russia-Ukraine war.
The project aims to ensure the integration of Ukrainian refugees by fostering an understanding of local cultural heritage, thereby mitigating the social consequences and challenges arising from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The project allocation for the Union amounts to a total of €71,943 (VAT included), with a co-financing share of €14,389.
The activities assigned to the Union focus on promoting and raising awareness of local cultural heritage including through digitization via a participatory and democratic analysis process, culminating in a final event to present the project to the community.
Local stakeholders participate in the participatory planning process for the cultural heritage plan, alongside the social promotion associations that manage the Union’s refugee social inclusion projects initiatives involving material reception and socio-cultural integration.
The partner organizations bring solid experience in social inclusion, an extensive network of European partners, and a proven track record in managing complex, multi-country projects. By leveraging social innovation and fostering collaboration among EU Member States, the project aims to build more resilient and inclusive societies. It will provide refugees with the tools and support needed to rebuild their lives, contribute to host communities, and mitigate the crisis's impact on the societies and public services of Member States.
